Dram

Nose: Oak chips, raisins, strawberry jam, oolong tea, toffee, vanilla, apricots. 
Mouthfeel: Medium body, tingly, expands, astringent. 
Tasting:  Salty sweet. Oak chips, malted grains, black pepper, magic marker, oolong tea, sea salt, hints of apples.
Finish: Short. Oolong tea, vanilla, apricots, malted grains, fresh baked bread, hints of black pepper. 

Comments: 

Apparently a Bardstown. Slightly woody, but with nice floral tannic notes. There’s more than a whiff of apples as well. Decent dram.

Verdict:

I like this.
