Nose: White wine, sumac, lemon zest, cream, yoghurt, hints of green tea. 
Mouthfeel: Light body, watery around the edges, expands, cool. 
Tasting:  Sour bitter. Sultanas, green tea, lemon zest, cream, sourdough bread, malted grains. 
Finish: Short. Sourdough bread, white grapes, green tea, hints of yoghurt. 

Comments: 

I think this may be Rozeliures whisky, but I’m not sure. So it goes down as ‘unknown’. It’s a little thin and simple, even with the higher ABV. There’s some fruit on the tongue but it’s not well developed.

Verdict:

Not bad.

Nose: Rosewater, cloves, red grapes, honey, malted grains, hints of raspberries. 
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens, sticky, mouth coating. 
Tasting:  Sweet. Cloves, peaches, orange peel, magic marker, cream, hints of rose water. 
Finish: Short. Magic marker, peaches, peanuts, orange peel. 

Comments: 

This is fragrant whisky, almost pungent. It's floral and spicy-sweet, but underneath there are some slightly chemical, slightly cereally notes. It's very interesting, it's definitely not Scotch.

Verdict:

I like this.

Nose: Leather, red grapes, mint, honey, orange blossom, hints of sour plums. 
Mouthfeel: Light body, thickens slightly, slippery, slightly astringent. 
Tasting:  Sweet salty. Black tea, brown paper, raisins, red grapes, mint, hints of leather. 
Finish: Short. Chocolate, black tea, leather, sour plums. 

Comments: 

Very nice whisky! Bright and sweet, slight saltiness, reminds me very much of Chinese preserved sour plums. Hugely floral on the nose, this concentrates into something very tannic on the tongue. Banyuls and whisky - who knew they would be so good together?

Verdict:

I like this.

Nose: White grapes, oolong tea, raisins, milk chocolate, prunes, hints of roast pork. 
Mouthfeel: Light body, thickens slightly, turns sticky, syrupy. 
Tasting:  Sweet. White grapes, raisins, prunes, blackberries, hints of peaches. 
Finish: Short. Cloves, white grapes, prunes, brown paper. 

Comments: 

Aged in Burgundy casks. This is grapey and rich, but still quite light. Plenty of white grapes (Penderyn like) but allied to a fruitiness and spiciness all its own. I have no idea where this distillery is, or its history, but it produces reasonably good whisky.

Verdict:

I like this.
