Nose: Lemon zest, apple juice, rhubarb and custard sweets, toffee, pear drops, hints of brown paper. With water, rhubarb and custard sweets, brass polish, brown paper.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, expands, cool, tingly.
Tasting: Sweet. Apple juice, rhubarb and custard sweets, fresh baked bread, honeycomb, brown paper, hints of black pepper. With water, honeycomb, apples, raisins.
Finish: Short. Apple juice, pear drops, honeycomb, vanilla, hints of brown paper.
Comments:
A very sweet, fruity whisky, lots of rhubarb and custard sweets. Reminiscent of Rosebank, but less delicate. There’s a strong, slightly bitter toffee sweetness too. It’s excellent stuff for its age.
Verdict:
I like this a lot.

Dark gold, hints of pink
61% ABV
Dram
Nose: Peppermint, raisins, strawberries, quince jelly, stale beer, rhubarb and custard sweets. With water, raisins, gas, manuka honey.
Mouthfeel: Light body, airy, warm, tingly.
Tasting: Sweet sour. Raisins, strawberry laces, quince jelly, stale beer, greengages, white grapes, wet stones, rhubarb and custard sweets. With water, quince jelly, manuka honey, raisins, gas.
Finish: Long. Wet stones, greengages, strawberry laces, quince jelly, hints of rhubarb and custard sweets.
Comments:
Lovely and sweet whisky, as port cask finishes tend to be. A flinty, minerally note is present throughout, and slightly sulphurous notes appear once water is added. This is not unpleasant, adding interest instead. Nice whisky.
Verdict:
I like this a lot.

Single malt - Western Australia
Amber
43% ABV
Dram
Nose: Honey, lemon, apples, cinnamon, salt toffee, hint of mint, hints of rhubarb and custard sweets.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens slightly, slightly oily, mouth coating.
Tasting: Sour sweet. Lemons, rhubarb and custard sweets, black tea, dessicated coconut, pomegranate molasses.
Finish: Medium. Vanilla, honey, red grapes, white pepper, hints of cinnamon.
Comments:
Gosh, this is luscious and complex whisky. No idea what the age is, but apparently, it could be up to 9 years. I wager this is one the older ones. Huge notes of fruit, tart on the tongue, and builds to a very spicy, sweet finish. Excellent stuff.
Verdict:
I like this.

Dram
Nose: Honey, red grapes, cough syrup, brown paper, hints of crispy bacon. With water, rhubarb and custard, leather, more honey.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens slightly, turns sticky, chewy.
Tasting: Sweet. Red grapes, chocolate, raisins, prunes, honey, cough syrup, hints of baked oats. With water, saltier, more red grapes, more honey, leather.
Finish: Long. Baked oats, chocolate, raisins, hints of coffee.
Comments:
Super duper sherried whisky. Slight meaty note on the nose, but chock full of red grapes and raisins. Rather like a good Pedro Ximenez sherry (obviously, since it's a sherry cask). Good cereally notes on the finish as well.
Verdict:
I like this.
