Nose: Cooked rice, butter, pears, cantaloupe melons, honey, malted grains. 
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens, turns syrupy, mouth coating. 
Tasting:  Sweet sour. Cooked rice, cream of wheat, malted grains, honey, magic marker, pears, cantaloupe melons. 
Finish: Medium. White grapes, pears, malted grains, honey. 

Comments: 

Quite fruity with a creamy base. Plenty of delicate cereal notes underlying that fruit, and it’s still layered and complex enough for those notes to come through. Rather good.

Verdict:

I like this.

Nose: Strawberry jam, roses, nashi pears, malted grains, molasses, coffee, hints of burnt sugar. 
Mouthfeel: Light body, cool, loosens, slightly volatile. 
Tasting:  Bitter sweet. Strawberry jam, raspberry jam, honey, wine gums, molasses, hints of burnt sugar. 
Finish: Short. Raisins, molasses, cloves, coffee. 

Comments: 

Very jammy but also laden with bitter, caramelly notes. The two (berry jam and bitter notes) clash a little, they fight for supremacy on the tongue. Who wins is a little dependent on what you had before.

Verdict:

I like this.

Nose: Walnuts, walnut skins, fresh baked bread, barley sugar, vanilla, honey, hints of roast chicken. 
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens, turns syrupy. 
Tasting:  Bitter sweet. Walnut skins, damson jam, fresh baked bread, vanilla, honey, raisins, barley sugar, hints of toast. 
Finish: Short. Walnuts, damson jam, honey, barley sugar, hints of toast. 

Comments: 

Bitter and nutty, lots of deep cooked stone fruit notes, over a cereally core. Some savouriness appears, espresso on the nose and the finish. Quite an interesting malt, it’s my first from this distillery.

Verdict:

I like this.
