Mouthfeel: Medium body, tingly, thickens, turns syrupy.
Tasting:  Bitter sweet. Mint, raisins, golden syrup, blackcurrant cordial, grilled pork, coffee, cloves, hints of apricots.
Finish: Medium. Dark chocolate, coffee, raisins, nutmeg, cloves.

Comments:

Cask 1712. Sherried Balblair, not very common. It’s quite fruity even for a sherried whisky, the Balblair characteristics of apricots and stone fruit are still evident. Plenty of spice as well, with a slightly bitter chocolatey finish. Mmmm.

Verdict:

I like this a lot.
