Nose: Malty beer, sea salt, salt caramel, pine, peanuts, hints of raisins, hints of plums.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens, slightly watery around the edges.
Tasting: Sweet. Raisins, pine, plums, salt caramel, peanuts, butter, hints of smoked fish.
Finish: Medium. Raisins, pine, plums.
Comments:
Very easy drinking. Not as woody as I expected. Instead, the whisky possesses a deep, rich sweetness that is very satisfying indeed.
Verdict:
I like this.
