Tobermory 10 yo
Official bottling
Single malt - Islands
Golden
40% ABV
Dram
Nose: Raisins, mushrooms, prunes, peaches, caramel, wet stones, hints of mint.
Mouthfeel: Light body, watery, loosens quickly.
Tasting: Sweet. Wet stones, raisins, mushrooms, peaches, mint, caramel, hints of plums.
Finish: Short. Raisins, mint, caramel.
Comments:
Earthy, but light. Reminds me of a wet, rainy, windy day, one that's not too cold. The mushrooms are redolent of damp in the woods - I know that doesn't sound very appealing, but it really is.
Verdict:
I like this.
