Nose: Cough mixture, honey, peat, peanuts, pears, sea salt, hints of smoke, hints of seaweed.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, astringent, static.
Tasting: Sweet salty. Peanuts, pears, leather, honey, cough mixture, salt caramel, peat, hints of smoke.
Finish: Long. Lemons, pears, peanuts, leather.

Comments:

Briny and marine, with the occasional whiffs of sweet stuff. This is an unusual Highland Park. I particularly like the smoke - it's shy and retiring, not obvious and in your face.

Verdict:

I like this.
