Comments:
This is the old version of Bowmore Darkest. The new one is a 15 yo version released in January 2007. The sweet notes seem to form an impenetrable layer over the smoke and peat. Not as well integrated as other sherried peaty whiskies. I wonder if the newer version is better?
Verdict:
I like this.
