Nose: Dunnage, blue cheese, tyre rubber, peat, autumn leaves, lemon juice, petrol exhaust, hints of white wine. With water, leather, peat, petrol exhaust, malted grains.
Mouthfeel: Light body, cool, slippery, loosens.
Tasting: Bitter sour. Lemon juice, petrol exhaust, dunnage, malted grains, peat, autumn leaves, hints of creosote. With water, lemon juice, malted grains, petrol exhaust, tyre rubber.
Finish: Medium. Petrol exhaust, creosote, lemon juice, tyre rubber.
Comments:
My first Dalmunach, the distillery built on the old Imperial site. It’s peated, first of all, something quite unexpected. Lots of citrus and something earthy and dirty, like autumn leaves. Interesting and promising.

I like this.
