Single malt - Lowlands
Very pale gold
46% ABV

Nose: Green apples, malted grains, leather, vanilla, salt caramel, hints of roast chicken.
Mouthfeel: Light body, tingly, loosens, expands.
Tasting: Bitter sour. Leather, lemon juice, salt caramel, fresh cut grass, green apples.
Finish: Medium. Leather, malted grains, vanilla, lemon juice.
Comments:
Stripped back, malty whisky, lots of apple and savoury notes. Extremely promising as a cask sample, tastes like a young Auchentoshan. I’d happily drink this on its own.
Verdict:
I like this.
