Dram
Nose: Cream, musk, ink, orange peel, honey, hints of grapefruit.
Mouthfeel: Light body, loose, watery, airy.
Tasting: Bitter sweet. Cream, leather, malted grains, orange peel, green apples, hints of grapefruit.
Finish: Short. Orange peel, grapefruit, green apples, malted grains, hints of sea salt.
Comments:
I've had the sister bottling to this - 1980/2007. This one has improved slightly with age, more of the Glen Mhor green apple, with a fair amount of bitter pithy grapefruit. Excellent fruity, slightly bitter whisky.
Verdict:
I like this.
