Nose: Ginger, pineapples, raisins, malty beer, papaya, hints of clove, hints of peat.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens slightly, dry, slightly astringent.
Tasting: Sweet sour. Orange juice, pineapple, raisins, cloves, hints of ginger, hints of peat.
Finish: Long. Slightly peaty, orange juice, coconut, ginger.
Comments:
Impressively spiced, with nice fruity notes. Very pleasant indeed. Could be more robust, but this is very decent for a 40% ABV whisky.
Verdict:
I like this.
