Nose: Blue cheese, walnuts, orange peel, toffee, butterscotch, applesauce, hints of germolene.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, loosens, expands, airy.
Tasting: Bitter salty. Walnuts, orange peel, blue cheese, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, honey, germolene, hints of dates.
Finish: Long. Blue cheese, orange peel, dates, cocoa nibs.
Comments:
Highly unusual, complex whisky. Tastes like Stilton and walnuts, with a slightly medicinal edge. It’s not like anything I’ve ever tasted before. Delicious.
Verdict:
I like this a lot.
