Dram
Nose: Camphor, roast pork, white pepper, autumn leaves, lemon zest, tobacco leaf, smoke. With water, honey, raisins, camphor.
Mouthfeel: Heavy body, hot, astringent, tingly.
Tasting: Bitter salty. Smoke, tobacco leaf, camphor, autumn leaves, ginseng, white pepper, green tea. With water, smoke, ginseng, camphor, autumn leaves.
Finish: Medium. Mint, green tea, ginseng, camphor.
Comments:
Quite interesting - a very smoky, herbal whisky, with a whiff of something that smells very like roast pork on the nose. On the tongue it becomes more earthy and spicy.
Verdict:
I like this.
