Mouthfeel: Light body, loosens, tingly, cool.
Tasting: Sour sweet. Lemon zest, honey, barley sugar, vanilla custard, fresh baked bread, peaches, magic marker.
Finish: Medium. Fresh baked bread, leather, peaches, barley sugar, hints of vanilla custard.
Comments:
Quite a delicate whisky, lots of malty grain notes, but also plenty of fragrant estery fruit. It’s sweet, yet bright and zesty, and does not show its age. It’s very well balanced and rewards patience and introspection.
