Dram

Nose: Raisins, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, lemon zest, hints of black tea. 
Mouthfeel: Medium body, cool, loosens, slippery. 
Tasting:  Bitter sweet. Black pepper, nutmeg, lemon zest, brown paper, honey, oats, star anise. 
Finish: Medium. Star anise, vanilla, cookie dough, nutmeg. 

Comments: 

Well, technically this isn’t whisky yet, it’s still rye spirit, but it’s got a good colour and a good set of flavours. Not too sweet, instead a cornucopia of spice and vanilla baked goods. Rather nice.

Verdict:

I like this.
