Nose: Leather, orange peel, caramel, honey, strawberries, hints of raspberries.
Mouthfeel: Light body, static, slightly tingly, cool.
Tasting: Bitter sweet. Lemon zest, fresh baked bread, honey, caramel, hints of orange peel.
Finish: Short. Lemon zest, caramel, barley sugar, orange peel.
Comments:
Fruity and light, lovely and sweet. The same could be said of many Paul John whiskies. It’s a very consistent distillate. Unfortunately this one isn’t as smashing as the Mithuna, but it’s decent of an evening.
Verdict:
I like this.
