Nose: Fresh cut grass, lemon zest, honey, green tea, wildflowers.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, syrupy, expands, cool.
Tasting:  Sweet sour. Lemon zest, honey, vanilla, pears, green tea, fresh cut grass, hints of lemon curd, hints of leather.
Finish: Long. Lemon zest, lemon curd, wildflowers, honey, hints of leather.

Comments:

Floral and gentle, with no discernible old bottle effect, this whisky is highly drinkable. Lots of flowers and lemon, perhaps a smidgen of vanilla. I would have said this was Imperial rather than Convalmore, there’s little to no peat on the tongue (maybe just a whisper on the finish).

Verdict:

I like this a lot.
