Nose: Driftwood smoke, honey, coffee, white pepper, peat, leather, hints of roast chicken.
Mouthfeel: Light body, static, warm, slightly tingly.
Tasting: Salty sweet. Driftwood smoke, honey, hay, fresh cut grass, white pepper, peat, autumn leaves, sea salt.
Finish: Long. Coffee, peat, autumn leaves, white pepper.
Comments:
Kinglassie is peated Inchdairnie. This one is sweet and savoury, and quite fragrant. It’s very earthy, almost ahead of its peatiness, and laden with overtones of grass and hay.
Verdict:
I like this.
