Nose: Raisins, vanilla fudge, butterscotch, coffee, hints of dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens, astringent, cool.
Tasting: Bitter sweet. Raisins, vanilla fudge, blueberries, maple syrup, hints of coffee.
Finish: Short. Coffee, raisins, vanilla fudge, dark chocolate.
Comments:
A nice little starter dram, very straightforward and familiar. It’s got lots of sweet flavours, and is very Macallan. Very decent whisky to start a session with.
Verdict:
I like this.
