Dram

Nose: Raisins, orange peel, shortbread, kiwifruit, vanilla, hints of custard. 
Mouthfeel: Heavy body, oily, astringent, numbing. 
Tasting:  Sweet sour. Kiwifruit, gooseberries, orange peel, honey, toast, hints of pineapples. 
Finish: Medium. Toast, honey, vanilla, gooseberries. 

Comments: 

A sweet and fruity dram, very classical Highlands whisky. Nice tangy gooseberry notes, even some tropical fruit on the tongue and perhaps even the finish. Slight tang of smoke too. Nice whisky.

Verdict:

I like this.
