Nose: Gooseberries, wet stones, peaches, apricots, green tea, orange peel, hints of cinnamon.
Mouthfeel: Light body, astringent, tingly, cool.
Tasting: Sour sweet. Wet stones, peaches, apricots, apple juice, fresh cut grass, gooseberries, white pepper.
Finish: Medium. Wet stones, peaches, apricots, lemon juice, hints of white pepper.
Comments:
Cask DL17761. Very juicy, fruity, slightly minerally malt. Lots of the orchard and stone fruits that this distillery is known for, and a little spice at the end. Delicious whisky.
Verdict:
I like this a lot.
