Nose: Yoghurt, lemon zest, white pepper, tarragon, fresh cut grass, honey.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, tingly, cool, expands.
Tasting: Sour sweet. Tarragon, yoghurt, lemon zest, white pepper, fresh cut grass, ginseng.
Finish: Medium. Ginseng, lemon zest, honey, yoghurt.
Comments:
My first poitin! I made sure it was 100% barley (or grain). It’s quite sweet, with a herbal, bitter edge. Lots of lemon in the background too.
Verdict:
I like this.
