Nose: Leather, dark chocolate, angelica root, sea salt, raisins, hints of toffee apples.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens slightly, cool, slippery.

Finish: Medium. Black pepper, dark chocolate, tyre rubber, cloves, hints of angelica root.
Comments:
Quite a decent malt, lots of sweet herbal notes, with a savoury undertone. On the tongue it’s quite chocolate-forward, with some bitter angelica. Quite impressive for an entry-level malt.
Verdict:
I like this.
