Dram
Nose: Carbolic acid, smoked fish, soy sauce, carrot cake, ropes.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, static, mouth coating.
Tasting: Sweet. Smoke, carrot cake, peat, carbolic acid, lemons.
Finish: Long. Smoke, carrot cake, soy sauce, lemons, peat.
Comments:
Smoky, fishy, chemical with a citrusy tang. Not half bad, although it's not quite full on salty the way I like my Caol Ila. Decent dram, lightly peaty.
Verdict:
I like this.

Nose: Dates, dried apricots, honey, vanilla, cream, marmalade.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, thickens, turns syrupy.
Tasting: Sweet. Marmalade, dried apricots, honey, dates, hints of plums, hints of chocolate.
Finish: Medium. Chocolate, marmalade, dried apricots.
Comments:
Wonderfully fruity and rich, like big heaping mouthfuls of fruit cake. I enjoyed this one very much, talking about whisky with a friend. More of a dessert dram than a first dram of the evening.

I like this.
