Nose: Salt caramel, white wine, black tea, wet stones, raisins, molasses, hints of cloves.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, loosens, tingly, cool.
Tasting: Sweet. Raisins, toffee, salt caramel, white wine, white pepper, milk chocolate, hints of coffee.
Finish: Medium. Black tea, toffee, raisins, white wine.
Comments:
New English distillery, and it’s not bad! Rather sweet and caramelly, with a good tart note of white wine as well. There’s some deeper flint notes on the nose too, keeps it interesting.
Verdict:
I like this.
