Dram
Nose: Orange peel, peaches, cream, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, honey.
Mouthfeel: Light body, loosens, cool, tingly.
Tasting: Sweet sour. Peaches, cinnamon, toffee apples, orange peel, aluminium foil, honey, hints of white pepper, hints of cooked rice.
Finish: Medium. Honey, peaches, toffee apples, orange peel.
Comments:
Quite fruity and a little feinty, a very promising entry level release from Lindores Abbey. Lots of honeyed sweetness and a little cream, especially on the nose. Uncomplicated stuff.
Verdict:
I like this.
