Dram
Nose: Yoghurt, cream, toast, leather, pink marshmallows, vanilla, hints of pineapples.
Mouthfeel: Light body, cool, loosens, slippery.
Tasting: Sweet sour. Vanilla, milk chocolate, pink marshmallows, honey, toast, hints of leather.
Finish: Medium. Honey, toast, vanilla, milk chocolate.
Comments:
Bourbon casks, of course, apparently showcase the characteristics of the distillate the most. On those grounds, the Lindores Abbey stuff is pretty good - very chocolatey, and a lot of honey as well. Needs aging, of course.
Verdict:
I like this.
